With Engage, there’s no need to sign paper consent forms anymore. Whether it’s a privacy policy, a pre-surgery consent, or another important consent form, you can review and approve your consent documents electronically from the comfort of your home, or anywhere that suits you.
Electronic consent is fast, secure, and legally valid, giving you the same assurance as signing in person. It also helps your healthcare provider keep everything organised, while saving you the hassle of paperwork.
By completing consent requests online, you stay in control and ready for your next appointment, procedure, or treatment plan without the delays.

Viewing your Consent Records
There are two ways to navigate to your Consent records:
- By opening the Consent tile on your Home Page.
- Via the Clinical Records icon in the navigation toolbar.
- If you are using a mobile device: Tap on the Consent section to open the list.
- If you are on a laptop or desktop: Click the name of the Consent record within the Clinical Records page to open further details, or click View More to see all of your Consent Records.
- If you are using a mobile device: Tap on the Consent section to open the list.
Approving or Declining a Consent Request
If a Consent record requires your attention, you will see a Needs Action button beside the record in the list.
- Click or tap on the Needs Action button to open the record.
- You will receive a prompt reminding you to read the document in full before actioning the record. Click OK.
- Review all of the attachments by using the navigation arrows at the bottom of the window. If there is only one page to review, then the arrows will be disabled.
- If any of the attachments aren't able to be previewed or if you would like another copy of the record, you can download all of the files using the Download all attachments button.
- On mobile, tap on the Details button, and then tap on Download all attachments.
- On desktop or laptop, click Download all attachments in the Details panel.
- On mobile, tap on the Details button, and then tap on Download all attachments.
- Next, you will decide whether to Approve or Decline the record.
- On a Mobile device tap on Details, choose either Decline or Approve, and tap Yes on the confirmation prompt.
- On a desktop or laptop device, when you reach the final attachment, the Decline and Approve buttons will be displayed below the attachment. Click the relevant button, and click Yes on the confirmation prompt.
- On a Mobile device tap on Details, choose either Decline or Approve, and tap Yes on the confirmation prompt.
- Your consent document has now been signed electronically, and your provider will be notified.
